Nanny job used to be just some sort of a caregiving job rendered for little boys and girls who’s mother, father or both work by day and have kids to take care of . To prevent conflicts in schedule of work and taking care of the kids, parents hire people who are usually just working part time while parents are out as nanny. This is a nanny job. A nanny job is by nature some part time job given to those who take care of the kids/children while their respective parents work for the family. Nannies get paid for their hours taking care of every need of the children depending on their age.
Caregiver Job
On the other hand, while this is mostly the case, it has evolved in due time because we all know that some people live with their parents who are sometimes too old to take care of themselves so they would need someone to look after them while their children (grown ups) work somewhere to earn money to pay for everyday needs like house bills, food and clothing and sometimes, their own education. This is called as a caregiver job and it has actually evolved into being called as one because some people in a house don’t have their own families but instead, they have their parents to take care of. Elders, do need proper care especially if they reach a certain age where they can’t take care of themselves anymore. This is where a caregiver takes over.
Housekeeper Job
Another special job related to a nanny job is the housekeeper job. In many parts of Europe, a housekeeper is someone who can be trusted to do all household chores because the people living in that house cannot take care of them anymore because they work. Best candidates for needing housekeepers are people who are professionals. They work full time to provide for their everyday needs and life needs but they don’t have the capability to clean the house, take care of the laundry or arrange the garden and water the plants and so on. What people in this category do is to hire someone we call as housekeepers. Usually, housekeepers hold even the key to the house so that at the start of the day, they can clean and take care of everything that needs to be done for the house alone because their owners are out working somewhere.
An Au Pair Job is that which deals with some sort of a program that allows any foreign national who belong to the age group of 18-26 (usually) to live with a host family where the au pair worker intends to work with for about 1 year which is open for second extended year. In order to be qualified for the au pair job program, however, you have to first qualify for or comply with certain set requirements and regulations. Au pair organizations handle this particular process because they are the ones who hire and coordinate in giving either a full time or part time basis of work. Regulations for American Au Pair jobs are mentioned in the Au Pair Regulation in Wikipedia.
