Specifically, if you are looking for nanny jobs on a freelance basis, what you do is the reverse of those who wants to get employed using a nanny agency. Go find yourself as many nanny classifieds as you can find and see if they allow free posting of your freelance nanny babysitting services there.
I know that most of these nanny classifieds would be a general classifieds so you would have to go browse over for the category that you will fit in based on your experience and field of expertise. If you are a nanny (as what this post is all about), than best category within the classifieds that you would be looking to post your freelance nanny services is the housekeeping services or in more general, just type in services.
Remember that most of these classifieds are for free so you can post there about you, your qualifications and bio plus your expertise, all for free. If there is any charge to have your name and your service posted in that classified, then leave it. Go find yourself a free classifieds for nannies and I am pretty sure that there are plenty of them out there. Best tip however is to go looking for the classifieds that offer posting location specified services so you can find a place to work for as near as possible.
Be sure to include everything that would make an employer take you with both hands handed over so it would be easy for you and the other party to know which is which is which when you both talk about working as a nanny which may either be a live out or a live in depending on your preference and the hiring party’s needs. Oh, and don’t forget to put there if you are available for live in so no confusion in the first place. Remember, that there are a lot of free nanny classifieds to post yourself in so no need to hurry.
