In order for foreign individuals to work in UK caregiver jobs, they will need to have a legitimate immigration or entry status for that purpose. The UK caregiver jobs applicant also need to have any of the following requirements like a working holiday visa, UK ancestry visa, a valid EU passport, or UK right to abode certificates for them to be able to work in either temporary or permanent UK caregiver jobs. To further safeguard the social care industry and those who want to work in UK caregiver jobs, a decree was approved by the UK government that would require all social workers or those who want to work in UK caregiver jobs to be registered with the GSCC on or before April 2005. After that, all caregivers who wasn’t able to register will be violating the decree if they use the title “social worker” without being registered with the GSCC and this law is called “Protection of Title”. This legal move was aimed to guarantee a more regulated industry and better protection for those who want to work in UK caregiver jobs. When registering with the GSCC to work as social workers or in any UK caregiver jobs, the GSCC will check your character, health, and qualifications.
